Although over 50% of facilities are authorised, the HSRA aims for at least 87% by 2027. While progress is notable in public and medical sectors, the dental and veterinary sectors lag significantly with only 26% and 25% authorisation rates respectively. The HSRA plans to escalate compliance measures, including potential prosecutions for non-compliance, as they focus on increasing protection and oversight across all areas.
