The Barngarla Aboriginal Determination Corporation welcomed the court's decision and highlighted the importance of the fight against the dump for Indigenous communities across the country. Resources Minister Madeleine King, from the Labor party, stated that they had worked with the Barngarla people to ensure their right to seek a judicial review and that she would review the court's judgment.
