This change aims to integrate its ultrasound, digital radiography, and computed tomography (CT) operations, reinforcing Samsung's strategic investment in the U.S. healthcare market. Kyu Tae Yoo, CEO of Samsung Medison, highlighted that this rebranding marks a commitment to healthcare providers and reflects the growth of their medical imaging organization. Samsung HME America has recently made advancements in ultrasound systems and expanded its AI capabilities, including the acquisition of AI prenatal ultrasound startup Sonio.
