Julie Dawn Bolin, MS, CNMT, has been elected as the 2024-25 president of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Technologist Section (SNMMI-TS). Bolin, who is the program director of Nuclear Medicine Technology at GateWay Community College in Phoenix, Arizona, and a nuclear medicine technologist at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona, aims to advance the field and educate the next generation of nuclear medicine technologists. She plans to prioritize building a robust workforce pipeline by engaging students and providing continuing education for professionals. Bolin also intends to advocate for the profession and promote access to education and healthcare in rural communities and among underrepresented populations.
