A recent study published in BMC Health Services Research found a significant positive correlation between radiation protection knowledge and attitudes toward radiation safety among healthcare workers. Researchers from Hatay Mustafa Kemal University surveyed 309 healthcare professionals, revealing that higher levels of knowledge were linked to more positive safety attitudes. The study indicated that knowledge significantly predicted attitude, explaining 22% of the variance in radiation attitude scores. Notably, support staff demonstrated lower knowledge levels than physicians and nurses, suggesting a need for targeted interventions for this group. The study employed a quantitative design with robust statistical analyses to establish these findings.
