This new coil aims to enhance the comfort of young patients during MRI exams, making the experience less intimidating. Its design, which resembles a light blanket, ensures high-resolution imaging and promotes efficiency, potentially reducing the need for additional scans. Recently cleared by the FDA, the Snuggle coil is currently available in the U.S., with plans for broader distribution. Philips and InkSpace Imaging are committed to developing further pediatric-friendly imaging technologies.
