The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia has resumed shrimp exports to the United States after obtaining certification confirming the shrimp are free from Cesium-137 contamination. The latest shipment consists of 182 tons valued at approximately Rp25 billion. Minister Wahyu Sakti Trenggono highlighted the restoration of trust in the American market for Indonesian shrimp, emphasizing the importance of maintaining international safety standards.
