The International Conference on Nuclear and Radiological Emergencies (EPR2025) has commenced in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, aiming to enhance global emergency preparedness and response related to nuclear incidents. Over 450 participants from more than 100 countries are attending to discuss challenges and innovations in the field. Keynotes from IAEA officials emphasized the need for trust and robust systems in nuclear safety. The conference will include sessions on public communication, technology applications, and international cooperation, alongside initiatives to engage young professionals and recognize women's contributions in the field.
