Group says medical radioisotope supply to return to normal week of Nov. 11 - American Hospital Association

Supplies of medical radioisotopes Mo-99/Tc-99M, used for diagnosing diseases such as heart disease and cancer, are projected to normalize the week of November 11, following a warning of shortages due to delays at an isotope reactor. Nuclear Medicine Europe noted that regions worldwide had been experiencing shortages of 50-100%.
