A recent study by Germany's ADAC has found that electric vehicles (EVs) emit low levels of electromagnetic radiation, comparable to or even lower than traditional combustion vehicles. Measurements showed that radiation peaks mainly occur near the feet but remain well below international safety standards. Chinese automakers are also advancing in this field, with the China Automotive Technology & Research Centre (CATARC) reporting that over 300 electric safety evaluation projects have been completed. Fourteen Chinese models have passed the comprehensive NESTA safety certification, which assesses vehicles on various safety criteria. Real-world measurements indicate that electromagnetic radiation from Chinese EVs is significantly lower than national and international limits, further highlighting their safety.
