ANSTO scientists are participating investigators in three new ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centres. The ARC Training Centre for Radiochemical Technologies and Precision aims to train the next generation of radiochemists to discover new molecular approaches to harness radioactivity, with expected outcomes including technological advances to radiopharmaceutical science. The ARC Training Centre for Battery Recycling aims to transform Australia's battery and resource industry by building advanced manufacturing capability for battery recycling and promoting second-life re-use. The ARC Training Centre for Radiation Innovation aims to produce the next generation of leaders in industries that utilize or are impacted by radiation, with outcomes including new methods for radiopharmaceutical production and robust regulatory frameworks. The Biosciences group of researchers at ANSTO supports the development and translation of radiopharmaceuticals to improve human health. The two ANSTO locations are in Sydney and Melbourne.
